Presenter: Sara Dominguez
Topic: Assertive Parenting for Toddlers
Your toddler is developing new likes and dislikes, ideas and feelings. Together with growth and independence, she or he can also experience anger and frustration, and sometimes seem defiant and stubborn. During this talk, Sara will review the major milestones of child development during the first 3 years. She will also discuss how to be an assertive parent by setting clear limits with your child, consequently helping her or him to become independent, learn self-control, and gain self-confidence.
Sara Dominguez, PhD is a child and parent psychologist at Early Years Psychology. She provides parental guidance and support to families with children between 0 and 4 years of age.
