During this seminar Annebet van Mameren from New2nl will explain all you need to know about the Dutch education system. She will discuss the level of Dutch education compared to other countries, the differences in educational philosophies (Montessori, Dalton, Waldorf, etc.), preschool, secondary school, international schools, after-school care, and much, much more!
Towards the end we’ll zoom in on the school application system in The Hague, and the available schools in the area.
Annebet van Mameren is an independent education consultant, and the founder of New2nl. She also runs the Guide2nl, a network that brings together expert service providers for international families in the Netherlands. Annebet is Dutch, and married to an American. They are based in Amsterdam, and have two sons who they are raising bilingually.
Annebet has a master’s degree in Organizational, Social and Personality Psychology and a research background in Intercultural Conflicts at Work. She has worked for multinational companies, lived and worked in Italy, and has a thorough understanding of the (educational) challenges faced by international families when moving to the Netherlands.
She regularly shares her knowledge and experience through international magazines and websites (Good Schools Guide International, Expatica, Re:Locate Magazine, XPat Journal, etc.), and gives seminars on the Dutch education system to international companies, individual families, and at fairs.
