Attachment is a long-term emotional link between infants and their caregivers.

Its quality contributes to the establishment of a broad range of social skills. It influences how infants explore their environment as well as their ability to manage situations of alarm or distress. During this talk, Sara will review the four mayor types of infant-parent attachment and discuss the role that attachment can play as an important early indicator of infant mental health.   

Sara Dominguez, PhD is a child and parent psychologist at Early Years Psychology. She provides parental guidance and support to families with children between 0 and 4 years of age.
