Embracing Horizons collaborates with other professionals offering psychological, emotional and behavioural support to children and their parents. We hope with these collaborations to exchange and share knowledge with others and to expand the services we can offer to clients.
Professionals Forum
This monthly forum for professionals meets on the first Tuesday of the month. It is a space where professionals can learn from each another and share their experiences. It includes a presentation on a specific topic followed by an opportunity to network.
We provide light snacks and refreshments.

Social Skills 4 Kids in schools
School is more than simply a place of learning. It is also a place where children learn to socialise and interact with peers and adults from all walks of life, and where they can develop the social, emotional and intellectual skills they need to become stable adults in an increasingly global society.
At Embracing Horizons we are convinced that a programme that can help children learn these skills is an essential part of a good school curriculum. That is why we offer our Social Skills 4 Kids group course to international schools in the Netherlands. We have three options for our Social Skills 4 Kids course in schools:
- As part of the curriculum for the whole class
- As part of the curriculum for individuals or groups
- As an extracurricular activity

Outreach
Embracing Horizons has many years of experience working with children growing up in an international setting. We are available to share our expertise in this field with other professionals working with children.
Our psychologists and other service providers are available to:
- speak at your event
- organise a workshop or training course for your employees or clients
- provide support in your school, day care centre etc
Network
We work closely with a number of trusted partners whose services are complimentary to ours and have a wide network within The Hague and surrounds of services supporting international families. We are always interested in connecting with others supporting the international community.
Space for rent
Are you supporting international families and looking for a space to book your consultations, trainings or workshops? Our spaces at Koninginnegracht 101 – The Hague are still available during the evenings, weekends and for several half-days during the week. Email us to inquire about the possibilities.
